I did not know that Mt. Rushmore represents the birth of the nation and that it took 14 years for it to be completed. Sometimes a design is worth the wait and sometimes it falls flat after it does not measure up to all the hype that was worked up about it. In this circumstance, the mountain sculpture is an icon of America and will be around for a long time for everyone to see the design that represents the important figures in our history that brought us all here today.
in a sentence or so, you address both consumerism and media. those should be expanded as you move forward. nice job overall on this brochure. be sure that you connect design characteristics with the themes of the project: process/product, experience (you have a lot on this), meaning (some on this), media and consumerism. i hope the in-class exercise helped in some way for you to connect the pieces.
This helped me to understand more about Mount Rushmore and what each president represents. Good job!
